Podhoretz blames Bush for current GOP extremism

I think it’s laughable that the cheerleaders have turned against the team.  J-Pod was one of the loudest Bush supporters out there, going so far as to call GWB the “first great leader of the 21st century”.  Now he blames him for the current state of confusion and bitterness that has invaded the GOP?!  Republican policies have failed because they are designed to fail.  It is all about proving how inept “big gub’ment” is, and Dubya was ineptness incarnate.  Podhoretz trying to put further distance between the GOP/TP of today and the blind loyalist of the Bush era does more to show how extreme the party has become more than anything else.
